At the 2025 Philament Awards, BEAM took home a Certificate of Merit for two projects – Halidom Eatery and YouthBuild Philly Charter School. The IES event in Philadelphia was a huge success this year with BEAM’s Christina Spangler and Jason Bradshaw assisting in the production of the event.
Jason Bradshaw, who is the current Vice President of Philadelphia’s IES Section, was part of the program introducing the annual Design with Light (DWL) competition. DWL is a student competition in which students are invited to create custom tabletop luminaires from scratch. The idea behind the competition is to have students work hands on with light, materials, and how they interact with each other.
Additionally, YouthBuild, completed with Atkin Olshin Schade Architects, was awarded a Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia Grand Jury Award. We are pleased to have collaborated with AOS on this important reuse and restoration project for the city.
