Great South Beach vibes at Atlanta’s Food Hall + Craft Cocktail Bar
Halidom, a 12th century term for ‘sanctuary’, is a fitting name for this new 14,000sf food hall as it provides a refreshing culinary sanctuary for locals and visitors. Situated in a growing southeast neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia, the eatery boasts eleven exciting food vendors, a craft cocktail bar, indoor and outdoor seating, and semi-private and private event spaces.
BEAM collaborated with the design team to select architectural and decorative lighting to create an impressive and expressive space while meeting strict budget constraints. Decorative lights pop above seating areas and at vendor fronts. Accent lighting in various millwork pieces throughout the space adds layers of interest and warmth. Architectural lighting provides functional illumination, accents graphic walls, and highlights vendor signage.
The lighting design successfully plays a key role in meeting owner’s desires to create a refined and imaginative atmosphere, echoing a South Beach Art Deco motif.
