BEAM ‘s lighting design for a clinic and wellness center soars on the 25th floor of the Comcast Center
In Center City Philadelphia, the health center includes medical and dental exam rooms, optical exam rooms and retail space, counseling offices, and a large training room, in addition to conference center, fitness area and support spaces. BEAM worked closely with the design team to integrate lighting within the various ceiling systems and architectural elements.
The lobby features a dynamic line of light that connects the three main areas. It was critical that economical and high-performance LED luminaires were designed in the exam spaces. With many functions and tasks required throughout the clinic, the lighting design creates consistency and supports the overall design concept.
