Lighting design highlights a brilliant new home for this American broadcast company

One of USA’s largest radio broadcaster and leading content creator for broadcast radio, podcasts and live events relocated their corporate headquarters and studios into Center City. The owner requested an architectural and lighting design reflecting their ‘over-the-top’ exciting organization that is relevant and contemporary in the markets they serve.

Greeted by a light portal and a music-reactive equalizer wall, on-air talent, guests and staff begin absorbing the excitement as they step off the elevator. Moving through the entry experience, energy builds as ceiling fin patterns and lines form the radiating diamond icon embodying the company.

Utilizing RGBW (red, green, blue and white light) LEDs throughout the performance/multi-purpose and public spaces allows for an infinite mix of vibrant colors for events and small shows. The RGBW effect lighting is comprised of 48 DMX universes with a custom software back-end.

In addition to the central public space, BEAM designed the office lighting for nineteen broadcast studios and stations including KYW, 94 WIP and several local music stations, as well as conference rooms and workspace for staff.
