500 Walnut, an ultra-luxury tower in Center City, is a 26-story building in the heart of Philadelphia surrounded by historically significant architecture and overlooks the Liberty Bell. The building offers 38 large, elegant units, an indoor pool/spa and a large outdoor terrace with views to Independence National Park.
BEAM designed the lighting for all interior spaces with controls for the amenity and corridor spaces, as well as the exterior of the building. The lighting design and fixture specifications align with the high-end aesthetic of the building, as well as the developer’s budget. LED technology and automated controls are used to provide maximum energy performance and user comfort levels. The lighting enhances the architecture and together the building exudes luxury and high design.
