Natalia began her career in lighting design with a part-time position at BEAM shortly after graduating from architecture school.Her architecture background is a strong asset in understanding the value in the integration of lighting design in a space and how it can elevate the atmosphere, support functional needs, and improve the user’s overall well-being. As an emerging lighting designer, Natalia supports BEAM with drawings, documentation, and marketing materials. She continues to expand her knowledge through educational opportunities with the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), where she became a recent member.
Natalia is also passionate about giving back to her community. She works to support young Hispanic immigrants by providing resources and guidance to help them pursue higher education in the United States, something she once navigated herself. In her free time, Natalia enjoys traveling, crafting, and spending time with family, as well as exploring new restaurants in Philadelphia.
